Spatial Analysis of Gravity Data in the Basement of the Yaoundé-Yoko Area from the Global Gravity Model: Implication on the Sanaga Fault (South-Cameroon)

In this work, gravity anomalies from the XGM2016 global model are used to study basement of Yaounde, Yoko area. The aim is locate characteristic tectonic faults and characterize geometry these localities in order improve knowledge structural Numerical filters (vertical gradient, horizontal upward continuation) Euler deconvolution were applied respectively for qualitative quantitative analysis. results analysis allowed us establish lineament map area; ranging 0 35 km depth. For analysis, work done two parts: 1) highlighting distribution depths geological structures 2) 2D1/2 modeling highlight Thus, five suitably selected profiles, established models reveal presence eight blocks different densities analyze their implications on Sanaga Fault. Moreover, show that positive characteristics Fault reflect anomalous character due strong dominance shale intrusion basement.
